It is concentrated on the area of central part of Slovakia, near the river Vah and in Bratislava. The second place is occupied by the chemical and rubber industry situated mainly in Bratislava, Sala, Puchov, etc. Also metallurgical industry plays a very important part of Slovakia. The Slovak food industry is regularly spread all over the country.
Electrical energy is generated in thermal power plants, nuclear power stations and in water power plants.

The Flag of The Slovak Republic is formed by 3 parallel stripes – white, blue, red and the Slovak state emblem.
