Dick Francis Reflex
This book was about Philip Nore. He was a racehorse rider and also a photographer. He came from Lambourn in England. He was a good jockey, but not the best.
Once he got “a bow of photographic rubbish” from one good friend, called Steve Millace. He had that photos and films from his father, George Millace.
He was a very good photographer, but he had suddenly died. When Philip had made photos from that negatives, he discovered a secret about Lance Kinship. He was a member of horse riders club, but Philip discovered that he was also selling drugs to young people. Philip also discovered that Kinship killed George, because he knew about him. He also tried to kill Philip. Philip asked Kinship for a drug dealer name and he told it to police.
Clare was 23 years old and she was Samantha’s daughter. Samantha was a good friend of Philip. Clare was working on her book about England and loved
Philip’s photos, so her book was with some Philip photos. She was interesting in Philip’s job, because she loved horses and horse riding. Philip loved her and he wanted to marry her.
The main idea of this book was to solve George Millace secret. It was a hard work, because Philip had to spend many hours in his darkroom.
The secret was about Lance Kinship and drugs. George wanted to solve it but Kinship killed him. And than Philip had to do it.
Some parts of this book were good, but some not. Jockey’s life in this book was exciting. Horses, winning, loosing was good. I also enjoyed the main idea of this book. But this book wasn’t as good, because there were many characters with difficult names and I didn’t know who was who.
