American meals
You can find a lot of ways of preparing foods from all over the world. But to find out what the original seems impossible. Chinese, Italian, Mexican or French meals can be found more easily than the American meals. The most typically American food today is hamburger. The first hamburger was sold in 1948 in San Bernadino in California. It was sold in the first Fast Food Restaurant in the world. This hamburger was sold by Michael Donald. Today the name Mc Donald’s is on over 12 000 restaurants in 56 countries of the world. Americans have three main meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast they eat cereals, mix fruit, nuts and milk. For lunch something light to eat, they visit Mc Donald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Taco Bell or KFC. Dinner is the biggest meal of the day.
British meals
A traditional English breakfast is very big meal-sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. But nowadays many people just have cereal with milk and sugar, or toast with marmalade, jam or honey. The traditional breakfast drink is tea, which people have with cold milk. Some people have coffee, which is made with just hot water. Many visitors find this coffee disgusting. For many people lunch is a quick meal. In cities, there are a lot of sandwich bars, where can you eat. The evening meal is the main meal of the day for many people.
Slovak meals
The Slovak national meal is noodles. It is really very good. It is noodles with sheep cheese. Slovaks usually have for breakfast something light like bread with butter and sausage or bread with cheese. The main meal is lunch. We have something warm. The last meal in the day is dinner. Everybody have something else. I usually have food from lunch or bread.
