Educaion
Education is the way to freedom and independence, it is the way from poverty. The Convention on the Rights of the Child says that primary education is compulsory and available free to all. Did you know, that nearly a quarter of the world´s population is illiterate? Millions of children never go to school and never learn to read and write.


Child labour
Child labour is the serious violation of children´s rights. Chilren are forced to work because their families are very poor. Sometimes they are kidnapped and forced to work for their masters. One million children are sold into work every year. They have to work instead of play and go to school. They have no medical care and they work in bad conditions.
Unfortunately not all children in the world live a happy life like you. There are millions of children who need help, there are a lot of problems we wil have to solve, there is still much work waiting to be done. When you are an adult you may have the power to help. Don´t forget!
