Slovak guide

Dear visitors, I welcome you here, in Slovakia. I hope that your travel was comfortable and not very long. Now, we are on the airport in Bratislava. You will also leave our country from this place.
My name is Matej and for the next five days I’m going to be your guide on our roams in Slovac Republic.
Our “voyage” will begin today in the capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava, which took this title after the partition of Czechoslovak federation. There, we’re going to visit the Bratislava castle, which is situated in the centre of the town, Slovak National Museum, historical center and many more monuments. In the end of the day, we’re going to participate on the boat trip to ancient castle Devin by the river Danube.

Next day, Sunday, we will move to the neighbouring villages Modra and Pezinok, where we will admire traditional ceramics and taste slovak wine. I’m going to show you also the preparation of it. In the afternoon we’re going to spend some time in the oldest roayal town Trnava, where you will visit the Museum of Western Slovakia and ancient walls that surround the town. Your accomodation is secured in one of the most popular health – resorts Piešťany, in the Grand hotel.
On monday morning, we will move to the High Tatras passing by Trenčín, where we will visit the old castle under reconstruction, Žilina, Ružomberok and Liptovský Mikuláš. In the evening, we’re going to practise a small walk round the city of Poprad, the “main entrance” to the Tatras.
On tuesday early morning we will visit the National park of Low Tatras, where we’re going to see some caves of Dobšiná. For the bravers is also prepared the ascent of the mountains, especially Ďumbier with the height of 2043m, with the mountain guide who will show you the beauties of our nature.

Who won’t participate on this interesting activities can, of course, stay in the bus. In the later afternoon, the bus will take us to Košice, when we’re going to spend a night in the centre of the city. A night walk on the main square with a beautiful fountain and Cathedral of St.Alžbeta will lead you up nice dreams.
The fifth day is free. You can do whatever you want. Go shopping or see another historical monuments, it’s just up to you! In the evening you will quit this land from the airoprt Košice, by the plane, which is going to take you to Brastislava airport, where you change the plane up to England!
