I am writing to you concerning an announcement I found in the March 8, 2004 issue of the Sun magazine. In your advertisement you wrote that your company Car database is looking for somebody skilled in programming to create a database of the produced cars. You also wrote that you need him/her to be fluent in English, have at least two years of work experience and have excellent communication skills. As for my experience with database programming, I have worked for 2 years as a programmer in the c++ environment for the Slovak Database Company. I have programmed many useful databases and programs for them that were highly appreciated by the managers. Later I worked in Thor Company in the PR department for over a year, where I talked to customers that needed help. I am currently employed as a part-time assistant in the Union Company. This post involves writing letters in Word and sending e-mails. Furthermore, I can speak Slovak and English fluently and I have an intermediate level in French and Spanish. I think that the knowledge and experience I gained in my previous employment can be helpful and useful in the position you offer.
