Elvis Presley: Biography

Elvis Presley was born in 1935 and he died in 1977. He had a twin, who died after birth. Elvis was the first rock and roll star. Presley was the son of Gladys and Vernon Presley. He has never written his song. When Elvis was three, his father Vernon was sent to prison for forgery. He attended the First Assembly of God Church, where he always included singing.

At the age of ten, he dressed in a cowboy suit, standing on a chair and sung to the microphone. Pastor Frank Smith gave him basic guitar lessons. When starting his school year, Elvis works in the school library and after school he works in the school theatre. In his senior year Elvis gets his first car from Vernon. The day after graduation he took a job at the shop. His typical song is Love Me Tender. When he died he had sold over 600-million singles and albums. Elvis died in age of forty-two in Memphis.
