TASK 3 - Role play

You have just seen an advertisement in the local newspaper. You need a car and the Beetle is your favourite one. But you need to negotiate since you can't afford to pay that much. Make a phone call to the owner and make an appointment with the owner. You use all types of arguments and stories to persuade the owner of the car to sell it to you, logically as cheap as possible.

- what cultural facilities you have got in the place where you live / museums, galleries , theatres, cinemas and concert halls /
- your favourite performer, movie star, famous personalities
- a visit of the cinema or theatre performance, sorts of films you enjoy watching

Make conversation with your partner. Decide where you want to go. Find out about times and then buy a ticket.
