I'm a student of educational establishment of clothes in Vrbové and I love books. I have found out that they are really the best friends of man. They give me more than some people. They tell me a lot of news about people, their life and their points of view.

Books can be divided into several groups: lyrical, epic poetry and drama. Books know sonnet, poetry, novel, historical novel, love story, short story, comedy, tragedy, ...

If book is sold really well it is called a Bestseller.

Books are very expensive, that`s why people borrow a book from the library. There are about 10 000 books in our library. There are about 40 000 books in the library of Piešťany.

The last book I have read was A Couch Potato. This book is about a man, who when he wakes up, he doesn`t get up, but he turns on the television and watches the children`s programmes and old movies. Then he gets up, goes downstairs and has lunch, he has biscuits and a glass of milk. In the afternoon, he watches news and old films. In the evenings, he watches soap operas or sport and again the news. He likes to watch main news at six o`clock. In the afternoon he goes for a walk with his dog, Tina. He walks to around the walls outside his house. He always take his portable telly. He watches TV to two o`clock A.M. When he goes to sleep, he is happy, that he has been watching TV for sixteen or seventeen hours a day and he didn`t watch TV for twentyfour hours.

I don`t have any favourite writer. I like romance and love stories. My favourite books are Summer love by..., That Devil called love by Lynda Charet.

My best-loved book is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. The Notebook is an achingly tender story about the enduring power of love, a story of miracles that will stay with reader forever. Set amid the austere beauty of coastal North  Carolina in 1946, The Notebook begins with the story of Noah Calhoun, a rural Southerner returned home from World War II. Noah Calhoun is haunted by images of the beautiful girl he met fourteen years earlier, a girl he loved like no other. Allie Nelson is now engaged to another man, but realizes that the original passion she   felt for Noah has not dimmed with the passage of time. Like a puzzle within a puzzle, the story of Noah and Allie is just beginning. As it unfolds? their tale miraculously becomes something different. The result is a deeply moving portrait of love itself, the tender moments, and fundamental changes that affect all readers.

Books helped and also help me to understand our life better. A book is a friend and also a teacher. Books rouse our interests, amuse us, enrich us mentally and give us new knowledge and a lot of wisdom.

A book is my best friend.
