Emerald Isle is one of the Canadian arctic islands located in Northwest Territories, Canada. Emerald Isle is a town in Carteret County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 3,488 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Crystal Coast and is located entirely on the Bogue Banks. It is a popular vacation destination, with many million dollar vacation homes lining the ocean side of the town.
