Fax

The word “fax” comes from the word “fascimile” /feksimaly/. It means an exact copy or reproduction. Faxing is a means of telecommunication that has developed very quickly over the past few years. Items of fax:

automatic paper feeders
defered transmission
automatic redialing
pre-programmed keys (for instant dialing)

Faxes work on a system which is similar to the telephone system. Advantages: instant reception of documents and documentary evidence


Email (Electronic mail)

-means of sending and receiving messages – internally, nationally, internationally
-leading commercial email service in Slovakia = CENTRUM, AZET, POST,…
-advantages: it´s fast, cheap, reliable
-we must have computer, internet, connection

+ explain how to make a mailbox !!!!

Business email – we have to finish it with a phrase “End of mail” !!!!!
