Christian Jacq is a french author and egyptologist. He was born in 1947 in Paris, France of course. Now he lives in Switzerland. He has written several books about acient Egypt and some books about Mozart and his life.
His interest in egyptology begun in his thirteen, when he read History of Acient Egyptian civilization by Jacques Pirenne. This had inspired him to write his first novel and by he was eighteen he had written 8 books.
His first succesul book was Champollion the Egyptian, which was published in 1987 and since then he has written more than 50 books.
His most famous novel is five book suite called Ramesses. It was published in 1995. This Suite includes books The Son of the Light, The Temple of a Million Years, The Battle of Kadesh, The Lady of Abu Simbel, Under the Western Acacia. The another well-known novel is written in trillogy The Judge of Egypt (Beneath the pyramid, Secrets of the Desert, Shadow of the Sphinx), next novells are Queen of freedom, Stone of light, and so on and so on…
He has also written several non-fiction books, the most popular are Egyptian Magic, Fascinating Hieroglyphics, Magic and Mystery in Ancient Egypt, The Living Wisdom of Ancient Egypt, The biggest Pharaohes of acient Egypt and Nefertiti and Achnaton.
Christians lastest books haven't been published yet, but in April will the The Divine of Worshiper apper and in October will the The Great Magician and The Count of Thebes come out.
Christian Jacq is my favourie author and I'm really like readinig his books. They're great!
