Czech aristocracy lost practically all of their in previous times hardly obtained rights, the nation was under strong catholic and German influence, common people had to leave or were under big press. This time is sometimes called The Time of Dark. Nevertheless, it was not time of dark, it was time of a big cultural bloom, it was baroque époque, only unfortunately for the Czech culture under the German influence.
