Fashion Fashion plays an important role in the modern society. The styles of clothing have been influenced by different factors, such as geography, religion, climate, poverty or wealth. The way we dress also depends on our taste, on the season and the proper occasion. Fashion, clothing that is in style at a particular time.
The concept of fashion implies a process of style change, because fashions in dress, as well as in furniture and other objects, have taken very different forms at different times in history. People wear clothes according their taste, mood and character. In summer we wear light summer dresses, loose blouses, trousers, shorts and various T-shirts and on our feet we usually put on sandals. When we go swimming we put on a swim suit. In winter we need to wear something warm, trousers, jeans, sweaters, anoraks, winter coats and jackets, gloves and mittens, caps and hats. The most favourite clothes of teenagers includes jeans, T-shirts, pullowers and trainers. Everybody wants to look good. It’s quite difficult to get dressed well, because they should be well combined. Some people have excellent taste in dress and are always dressed perfectly, others are dressed anyhow. Fashionable trends are imitated in the entire world.
Nowadays you can wear practically everything. Fashion includes not only clothes but also hair style, make-up, and accessories, e.g. shoes, handbags, gloves, belts, hats, ties, coronets or glasses. The color of our clothing also can influence our feelings, our mood or express our personality. Many people, like hairdressers, fashion designers, models and dress-makers for example, make money from fashion. All in all, fashion is a never ending human effort to make us look better or just different.
