Bill Gates

Bill Gates was born in the US on 28 October 1955 in Seattle which is on the Washington. His full name is William Henry Gates III. His father was a prominent lawyer and his Mather served on the board of directors for First Interstate Bank. He has two sisters Kristi and Libby.

Gates excelled in elementary school where his favorites subject was mathematics and the sciences. When he was thirteen he left state school and come to Lakeside School which is in the Seattle. This school is the most exclusive preparatory school in Seattle. In his thirteen he made his first game who called Tic-Tac-Toe. In 1973 Gates entered Harvard University as a freshman. In his junior year, he dropped out of Harvard to devote his energies full-time to Microsoft, a company he had started in 1975 with his boyhood friend Paul Allen.

Microsoft helped to make the computer easier to use with its developed and purchased software, and made it a commercial success. Gates married Melinda French on January 1, 1994. They have three children: Jennifer, Rory, Phoebe. They live in a very large earth sheltered home in the side of a hill overlooking Lake Washington. He has been the richest man in the world consistently every year since 1998. In Forbes magazine's 2002 list of the two hundred richest people in the world, Gates was number one for the eighth straight year, coming in with a net worth of $52.8 billion.
