NATIONALITY: the government issuing the passport (or other identification document) even if the person normally resides in another country



Internal tourism comprises domestic and inbound tourim. National tourism comprises domestic and outbound tourism. International tourism consists of inbound and outbound tourism. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS: any person who travels to a country other than that in which he has his usual residence, but outside his usual enviroment for a period not exceeding 12 months and whose main purpose of visit is other than the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the country visited. TOURISM EXPENDITURE: is the total consumption expenditure made by a visitor or on behalf of a visitor for and during his trip and stay at a destination.
