Jaromir Jagr is born on February 15 in 1972 to Anna and Jaromir Jagr in a little town of the Czech republic called Kladno. He is actually Jaromir Jagr III. He is now living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania( I hope so! ). His mother lives with him in Pittsburgh and his father still lives in the Czech Republic.He learned how to skate at the age of 4 because his father taught him. He spent much of his childhood with his grandmother, while his parents were at work on the farm and at the factory. His grandmother told him stories of his grandfather, who died as a political prisoner during the first year of the Soviet occupation in 1968. That led him to choose the number 68. When he was 17, he was on the Czech national team. He was drafted by the Penguins in 1990 ( he was 5th in all the draft ). He won the Stanley cup in his two first years in the NHL! He has won the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins and became the youngest Professional to ever record a hat trick when he did so at the age of 18.When he was young, he loved Mario Lemieux and he finished by playing at his side. He was the leading scorer of the NHL in 1994-95 ( 48 goals and 32 assists to make 70 points ) so he won the Art Ross trophe and has played often in the NHL All-Star game. In all of his famous career, so far, he played 504 games and made 266 goals and 367 assists to make 633 points. He only had 371 penalty minutes in all of his career. Please note that it's from 1990-91 to 1996-97. His favorite food is chicken and he loves Jon Bon Jovi and Metallica. When he was young,his favorite school subject was math. He now owns a black Ferrari Testarossa. And, I'm sure that you agree with me, he is THE BEST NHL player that ever lived! He enjoys vacationing in the Czech Republic and his closest friend in the NHL is Martin Straka.He now has a lot of merchandise stuff but the most funny one is his own peanut butter jars! Nut is,you can only buy them in Pittsburgh and little towns beside the Pens' town!.
