Parks
Liverpool has a great heritage of public parks and gardens.
One of the first parks in this country is Princes Park. Particularly worth a visit is Sefton Park with its famous Palm House, graceful avenues, wooded vales and lake. Calderstones Park has a more formal theme, with its walled old-English garden, Japanese garden and other specialist areas.
