In this part writer shows the cruelty of Mrs. Reed and unfair treatment of Jane. Her childhood was the worst part of her life and her aunt didn’t ease Jane’s lot.
This is Jane’s description of her life in orphanage. I thing that life in this place was for her much better than life with her aunt by her side. „Vy nie ste troska, nie ste strom rozčesnutý bleskom. Ste zelený, silný. Okolo vašich koreňov porastú kvety a rastliny, či si o to žiadate alebo nie, lebo sa im dobre darí vo vašej lahodivej tôni; budú sa o vás opierať a vinúť okolo vás, pretože vaša sila im poskytne spoľahlivú oporu“
These are Jane’s heartwarming words for Mr. Rochester when he was sad because of his lost sight. She loved him not for his appearance, but because of his good heart.
