As you know he works as a corrector of history. He write a new information in the old newspapers and books. History doesn´t exist. One day he meet a woman and she give him a paper with the message: "I love you." She love him and he love her. They have their first meeting in a wood outside London. Julia is 26 years old and she works in the Ministry of Truth too. They must hide. They have a "love place" in Mr. Carrington´s shop. Mr. Carrington is a "normal" man and he is about 50 years old. There is a small private room in this shop. One day when they are in this room Ideopolice arrest them. Mr. Carrington is a Ideopoliceman. Winston is in Ministry of Love. In prison he meets many different types of people, but everybody are disobedient. Mr O´Brien torture him many days and weeks and make from Winston an obedient man. He is supposed to say: 2 + 2 = 5, etc. At the end of this book Winston love Big Brother and then he was shot. Style: This book has three parts. In the first part Orwell describes the life in Oceania and the state machinery. In the second part there is Julia´s and Winston´s love life. The last part is about Winston´s torture and his death. My evaluation: 1984 by George Orwell is very nice book. I didn´t know it before. This book describes life in Oceania. I think that this life is a same as the life in a communistic country. This book gave me the idea of how communism works. Geoge Orwell is one of the most famous writers. 1984 is one of the most interesting book I have ever read.
