This play is one of the Shakespeare’s famous tragedies in five acts about the star-crossed lovers fighting to be together.

Play started on the streets of Verona with yet another brawl between the servants of the feuding noble families of Capulet and Montague. Benvolio, a Montague, tried to stop the fight, but was himself embroiled when the rash Capulet, Tybalt, arrived on the scene. Upon arriving to the scene, Prince Escalus, the ruler of Verona, to prevent any further conflicts between the families, decided to punish everyone who disrupt his word with death. Romeo, the son of Montague, run into his cousin Benvolio, who after some prodding learned that Romeo is in love with Rosaline, who does not return his affection. Benvolio counseled him to forget this woman and find another, more beautiful one, but Romeo declined. Meanwhile, Lord Paris seeks Juliet’s hand in marriage. Her father Capulet invited him to the feast he traditionally held in hope that Paris will court Juliet. Upon meeting Capulet’s servant Benvolio decided that they will go to the feast in disguise to distract Romeo from his moping. At the feast, Romeo met Juliet and they instantly fell in love. After the feast, Romeo sneaked into the Capulet’s garden where young lovers proclaimed their everlasting love and decided to marry the very next day. They assigned Friar Laurence to do the ceremony. As the play went on, another feud transpired between Mercutio, Romeo’s friend, and Tybalt where Tybalt stabbed Mercutio and Romeo stabbed Tybalt in retaliation, which resulted in Romeo’s exile from Verona. Capulet arranged Juliet’s wedding to be in three days. She refused and run to Friar Laurence who suggested she drink a potion to make her seem dead and after she is laid in the family’s crypt, Romeo will retrieve her and they will run away to Mantua. After the failed attempt to inform Romeo of this plan, Romeo, believing Juliet is really dead, purchased the real poison and went to die in the crypt beside his beloved. There he encountered Paris whom he stabbed in the duel, drank poison and died. Juliet had awoken in that precise moment, seen Romeo dead and stabbed herself. Upon arriving to the scene, both families agreed to stop long lasted feud.
