There were so much various styles of music in Britain! From the Sex Pistols, the most famous exponents of the aggressive musical genre known as punk, to the boybands phenomenon represented by Take That or Boyzone. But there are much more! One of my favourite are Pink Floyd, band from the „psychedelic era of the late 1960s“ which is still one of the best and their albums like „Amimals“, „The Wall“ or „The Division Bell“ really present the „decadent industrialism“. Another really good and famous groups are Depeche Mode and U2. These two are ruleing for two decades and I believe that their end is still far away. From the singers I just have to mention names like Sting, Geogre Michael or Elton John. British music scene is huge. It’s full of quality artists but also of junk and filth.
