The company was founded by Mr. Martin Cabejsek who comes from a glassmakers family (both parents worked for the whole life in glass industry, as well as many other family relatives, Mr. Cabejsek himself after passing out secondary school for glass industry in Novy Bor continued his study and graduated successfully on Institute for chemical technology in Prague, Department of technology of glass and ceramics. He is an author of edifying still-growing internet encyclopaedy of glass.

The History of glassmaking in Josefodol is 138 years old and Caesar Crystal Bohemiae is proud to be able to continue in this tradition.
For several decades, Josefodol has been the centre of the fully manual production of cases lead glass, famous all over the designs of renowned artists has given birth to a unique type of crystal vase, typical for the place where it was made.
The current offer of the Company includes, besides the traditional, always manually processed transparent glass, also a number of traditional colors – blue, green, crimson, red and azure. A specialty is black glass.
The range offered also includes unique sports trophies and works of art.
